March April 2008 Fishing Report
- Hi again winter is on the way and the
weather is starting to be have it self and it will be nice to get into a normal
winter pattern we used to get 10 years ago with frosty mornings and brilliant
flat calm pristine days to hit the water and get well offshore for a good look
around with little current run, usually a good recipe for great fishing.
Last week has seen some nice individual
species around but they haven’t really fired yet. I should be getting back from
an overnighter by the time this goes to print so heres hopping the current run
has dropped off, and from earlier reports from fellow fish’s it has.
Soft plastics are still racking up the
numbers as are those WA OR SA Pilchards along with fresh local caught squid.
Try floating a few of these baits down on the least sinker weight possible in
minimal current this will increase your catch size no end.
Until next week “Go on get out there.”
